Hi there! I'm Dr. Bob Valdez. I grew up in sunny Los Angeles and went to college at CSU Dominguez Hills. Then, I had an amazing experience at dental school in Guadalajara, where I earned my degree in 1982. After that, I continued my journey with a Pediatric Residency at USC, and I proudly received my Pediatric Dentistry certificate in 1985. It's great to meet you!

I have been practicing in the city of Whittier since 1993. In late 2008, I established my dental clinic in the Uptown Whittier District. I provide a comprehensive array of services for pediatric patients. In addition to pediatric dentistry, I specialize in the treatment of children with special needs, as well as those who are chronically or critically ill.

Throughout my career, I have been affiliated with Kaiser Permanente, enabling the provision of comprehensive dental treatments for patients in need. It is imperative to ensure that patients feel at ease during dental procedures; therefore, prioritizing a patient-friendly approach is of utmost importance to me.

Dr. Austin J. Wessling hails from Piti, Guam, and possesses an extensive academic background, including degrees in medical anthropology with an emphasis on global health and comparative historical ideas from the University of Washington, Seattle. He also holds a Master of Arts in biomedical sciences from Midwestern University and earned his Doctorate in Dental Medicine from A.T. Still University in Arizona.

Dr. Austin focuses on comprehensive dental care for children, adolescents and adults while specializing in providing care for the special needs community to ensure that all patients receive comprehensive dental treatment that can last a lifetime. 

During my career, I've had the pleasure of working with different regional centers, which has allowed me to provide complete dental care for those who need it. I truly believe that making patients feel comfortable during their dental visits is essential, so I always focus on creating a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for everyone.
